The Gardner Township Cemetery is made up of 4 Sections. 

Each Section is made up of Ranges. 

Each Range is made up of Lots. 

Each Lot is made up of 8 Graves. 

Lots usually have 8 graves, but there are some exceptions.

The Graves are numbered from 1 thru 4 on the west side of the Lot

                                    and 5 thru 8 on the east side of the Lot.

 

 

A Burial Location, i.e. "1-East-3-7-4" is used to locate a grave.    

                                                     -4 is the Grave number

                                                 -7 is the Lot number

                                              -3 is the Range

                                      -East is the Section

                                    1 is the Gardner Township Cemetery

 

 

As you enter the Gardner Township Cemetery thru the main gate on the north, the section to the left of the main north/south road is the East Section.

 

The section to the right of the main north/south road to the first row of graves past the first north/south road on the right is the West Section.

 

The section to the right of the West section is the Baker Section. 

 

The section past the road in line with Grand street is the South Section.

 

 

The East Section has 11 Ranges numbered E, D, C, B, A, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 from north to south.

 

The West Section has 11 Ranges numbered 1 thru 11 from north to south.

 

The Baker Section has 7 Ranges numbered  5B, 6B, 7B, 8B, 9B, 10B & 11B from north to south.

 

The South Section has 3 Ranges numbered 7E on the left side of the main north/south road and numbered 12W & 13W from north to south, to the right of the main north/south road.
